Unearthed

Like the gradual retreat of ice etches mountains,
your steady regard erodes the stony reserve.
And excavates the remains of an earlier person
long ago buried under the weight of debris.

Now, as artifacts abandon the hold of time and pressure,
an imprecise outline emerges from the dust.
Slowly, gentle prying shines light on the entirety,
and this reawakened relic is introduced to a new era.
